What do people think about gluten in whole turkey breasts? The kind that you can buy with the little plastic thing that comes up out of the breast when it's finished cooking. I've heard it said that whole turkeys sometimes have seasonings (with gluten) injected into them. Would you say the same is true of turkey breasts (as opposed to a whole turkey)? My instinct tells me that the turkey breasts could also have seasonings injected into them as well. If that's the case, if you want to buy a turkey breast in the supermarket, do you call the manufacturer first? Is there even a phone number listed on the packaging of whole turkey breasts? The next time I go to the market, I'll have to look on the packaging - but meanwhile, I thought I'd ask. Or maybe I'm better off buying it from a local butcher - maybe they can be more certain about whether their meats have anything injected into them.

  Thanks in advance!
