Hi all, I am very very interested in getting any possible help with
mental and emotional symptoms that anyone has had that they now know or
suspect came from gluten. I have a friend who has been newly
diagnosed as having celiac by Dr. Fine, but isn't staying on the GF diet!
For years he's been tortured mentally beyond description, and has been
to numerous specialists, etc, and tried everything, including very high
doses of medicines, but gets no better. He attempted suicide a few
months back, (before being diagnosed), and has spent time in the hospital,
but no one can figure out what is wrong, and what is causing the
horrible mental battles, and I'm very afraid for him. I know he ought to be
on the GF diet anyway, (he is on and off), but what I would so
appreciate is if any of you would be willing to give your own thoughts and
symptoms that may give him some hope that going on the GF diet MIGHT
actually help him with his extreme mental anguish and thoughts that bombard
him day and night faster than his mind can even keep up with. He
doesn't have a working computer now, but I can pass on anything that any of
you would be willing to share. Thanks so very very much.

Timia
