I just burned out my little hand mixer on an apple cake, so now I am
interested in purchasing a stand mixer and have been looking at Kitchenaids
on ebay.  Since I am not familiar with the features, I am asking for help.

I do not make my own bread, but do other baking. I see features such as a
tilt head, or one where the bowl raises up.   I see pouring shields, etc.

Just what are the best features to have?   And what about motor size?
Please tell me what you like and don't like about any features.
