A thoughtful friend bought me the following product at a health food store
somewhere between D.C. and the Delaware beaches. Please don't ask me where,
because I don't know. :) But there's a phone number below you can call to
find out where it's available near you.

Papadini (brand) Hi-Protein Pure Lentil Bean Pasta

Manufactured by:

Adrienne's Gourmet Foods
849 Ward Drive
Santa Barbara, CA 93111
800.937.7010

The label says it's 100% lentil bean flour and that it's gluten-free,
wheat-free, high fiber and low fat.

I tried the pasta last night and liked it quite a bit. It has more of the
taste and texture of wheat pasta than rice pasta does. And, according to
the package, this pasta is loaded with protein (13g) and iron (20% RDA) per
2 oz. serving. The comparable figures (again, from the package) for wheat
pasta are 2g of protein and 10% RDA for iron.
