I just had to share with the List an excellent restaurant experience
that I had this weekend.

The restaurant is called Adrienne and it is located in New Milford,
CT. We were meeting friends from out of town and needed to find a
halfway point, so my husband looked up restaurants in the New Milford
area. He saw that on their website it said that they were "more
than willing to accommodate special diets, food restrictions or food
allergies" and they specifically mentioned Gluten Free, so we went
there. What a wonderful surprise! The food ("Fine American Dining")
was delicious and the service was excellent. Gluten free items are
clearly identified on the menu -- and almost everything on the menu
is gluten free! Out of 11 entrees, 8 of them were gluten free!
(plus specials and the salads and vegetarian and low-carb dishes).
All of us loved the food and we all ordered different things - duck,
lamb, salmon, and filet mignon. Oh yes, and desserts too! I had a
lime tart in an almond crust and there were other gf desserts. And
they even had a jazz guitarist playing background music - very nice.
I just wish I lived closer.

I have no personal financial interest in this restaurant - other than
to want them to stay in business so I can eat there again!
