Hi all,

Well, I must have received 25 responses for my inquiry regarding vitamin/
mineral deficiencies. (Thanks to all who replied) However, along with
the 25 responses were 25 different opinions on what vitamin/mineral one
with CD could be deficient in!

An obvious blood test would rule out low serum levels, but most of the work
that the vitamins/minerals do are within a *cell*, and it is difficult to
determine cellular levels with normal blood workups.

Because of my constant hunger and damaged leg muscles (parts of the thigh
feel like a rock) I am operating under the assumption that there is a
significant amount of tissue damage to the muscle, and that the hunger
indicates that repair is underway. I do not put on any weight, and I
do not crave any particular food (i.e. sugar/starches).

Again, thanks to all who replied.
