This summer I will be traveling with my spouse and 2 kids to spend a week in
a Florida beach house with my parents, my 3 siblings, bro-in-law,
sis-in-law, and my 5 nieces. So that makes 7 kids and 9 adults...and I'm the
only one with food issues. Any advice on how to diplomatically negotiate
eating so that the celiac is safe on a vacation that in the past has
involved plenty of days filled with gluten-ishous snacking. I tend to err on
the side of accommodation, tho I certainly don't want to compromise my
health. However, one of the pleasures of vacation is the snacking and I hate
to take away any more of that from people than I need to.

I have been diagnosed less than 2 years and have traveled and stayed in
other homes only 4 times since that time, and never with this many people at
one time! Still in that learning curve.

Any advice, stories of experiences is welcome.

Thanks,
Cris
