Hello Group!

I have to say, this group is a wonderful source. Many people wrote to me
about this spray and confirmed it is indeed GF. Many of you asked for a summary,
so please read on. Also, some people wrote that it is unhealthy to use even
if it is GF because of the chemicals, and I agree, however I was actually
considering using their "family" spray and I don't think it has DEET. Either way,
I just wanted to add that some of you are so funny (besides being helpful)
who responded with things like "Are you eating it?" Obviously not...I just
prefer not to have anything with gluten around as much as I can control. The
chemicals are a whole other problem! Thanks again to all who wrote!

thought I had just seen this at Delphi and I had. It was under the newly
confirmed list, which ,means it was recently confirmed but hasn't been added to
the big list. Here's what Off says. All these are GF except the one mentioned
last.

Quote from letter:"OFF(r)Botanicals(tm) has the active ingredient
p-Menthane-3, 8-diol, an ingredient found in eucalyptus plants and this lotion may have
gluten so we would advise not to use this product."

don't know about OFF being GF, but I sure would not use it. Here is what
Mercola has to say about this:
www.mercola.com/2004/aug/7/cinnamon_oil_deet.htm

There are enough toxins we take in unknowingly and we really need to avoid
this one. We have found that since giving up a lot of the sugar we used to
use, we hardly get bitten at all. I think they are attracted to the
sweetness in our bodies. Hope this helps.
