I am having difficulty understanding CS.

I read and hear it can take months to have a normal biopsy or blood test and
then I read it can be weeks, or a few months.

I read and hear of people who having been GF for ages or weeks, have
reactions to trace amounts of Gluten.  How can this be when I also read that
it take weeks and months to have a positive result for a blood test in a
challenge?

Will someone please re-explain CS to me?
