finger hit the wrong button before I could reply).
 
About the French translation from Against the Grain not working in Quebec.
Although I haven't seen the book, the problem may have been differences
between *Parisian* French (i.e.  France French) and *Quebecois* French.
There are many difference between the two (and with Acadian French, spoken
here in New Brunswick by my relatives, alas, I've forgotten most of it).
