I have problems with the immune system being able to react in one
part of the body but not in another. Gluten should react anywhere
that it comes into contact/affect the immune system.

DH people show their sensitivity to gluten in a more obvious way
than other celiacs when they come into contact with small amounts
of gluten. Perhaps the small amounts of gluten that may be absorbed by
the skin may trigger a reaction in DH people which go UNNOTICED in
others.
