Thanks all for your responses. I now will feel comfortable trying the
restaurant. Here's what some people had to say as to specific recommendations for
ordering.

I have been to Lilli & Loo several times in the last 2 months and enjoyed it
each time. I am sure that they could cater for your GF/Soy free request. I
am GF and 'no seafood'. They changed a few things for me because I could not
have fish sauce or shrimp paste. Have you have checked out their online
menu... http://store6.geomerx.com/lilliandloo/index.cfm?
fuseaction=category&categoryID=29 Their "Fresh Saigon Roll" might be OK. I could not have it because
their rice wraps have a band of seaweed running through it. They have other
sauces (with ginger) that might work for you.

I had a gf takeout order from them yesterday. It
was my first experience there and I would say
they were very understanding. I wish I had
gotten the name of the woman I spoke to, but
unfortunately I did not. However, I would
recommend calling them at an "off time" (like
between 3 and 5PM during the week) and discussing
with them your specific needs.

I have eaten at Lilli and Loo many times. I have an allergy to corn, which
is in gf soy sauce. The restaurant is more then accommodating every time.
I always get the orange crispy chicken which has any soy sauce. Its
delicious. They fry it special for me in arrowroot starch. I also have the
shrimp tempura and egg drop soup. The restaurant is my favorite GF
restaurant around.

lake tong ting shrimp OR chicken is gf...anythign with a white sauce
