Dear Listmates,

Thanks to all of you who responded. Here is a summary:

Applegate Farms brand is GF. You can find them at Wild Oats in Medford,
Saugus, and Andover.
-------------------------------------------------------

I buy Empire sliced deli meat, which you should be able to get at Star
Market.
--------------------------------------------------------
Village market carries Boar's Head which is my first choice. Roche Bros.
carries Jennio-O. (I usually buy turkey).
--------------------------------------------------------
Applegate brand is at Bread & Circus, and at that new health food store at
the
corner of Beacon and St. Mary's in Brookline (forgot the name). Trader Joes'
has
some too. I get a big ham at Cosco - Kirkland brand- and I DO NOT use the
glaze
pack. It is good for sandwiches, or chopping into tortillas or omelets, or
pasta.
I do not buy any GF deli meats at the deli counter, due to concerns about
cross
contamination in the meat slicer.
------------------------------------------------------------
All Empire kosher deli meats are gluten-free. I get them at the Lexington
Stop & Shop or the Butcherie in Brookline.
------------------------------------------------------------
Stop & Shop carries Boar's Head. Nearly all of their products are gluten
free. They are happy to supply you with a list of the gluten free products.
Majesty ham is carried there as well which is gluten free.
-------------------------------------------------------------
I buy Boars Head Meats at my local Stop and Shop in Connecticut. Since they
are also in Massachusetts, I am quite certain that your local store will
also have them. Ours has a wide selection and runs sales every week.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Some Stop and Shops carry Boars Head, as does Donelans. Trucchi's on the
South
Shore carries Dietz and Watson. Bread and Circus carries Applegate
---------------------------------------------------------------
Unfortunately the Stop & Shop in Hyde Park does not carry Boars Head.
