Thank you all for you help...I am no farther ahead
than when I started (but not because of all your
wonderful input!!). I have to call the head office and
try to pin this down and will report my findings...it
seems that these Elisa Act people giving this lecture
at our local health food store said that if you do
test positive for gluten ( or anything else) that you
take it out of your diet and then if after (whatever)
time (Weeks, months) you are feeling better, then you
re- introduce it and if you feel ok then you can have
it again. I got 2 of them to say this!..So this is
scary and I need more definitive info before I can
figure out what this means..I know that test is
popular around here and the lady sitting beside me at
the lecture had a gluten reaction listed on her paper
but she said she still eats gluten. So is there such a
thing as a gluten allergy that can just go away??? as
well as so called celiac/sprue/gluten
intolerance??..they are giving the impression that a
showing of a gluten reaction in their tests is
something that may only be temporary..I thought I had
all this nailed down but sometimes people blur the
edges and I wonder if I have all the info...Thanks, Donna
