As an avid tea drinker, I was really bummed when I saw this message on the
list.

today, i spoke with the republic of tea representative at 1-800-298-4TEA. i
was asking about the glue used in tea bags she said there is a very high
likelihood that all tea bags are sealed with a wheat-based glue; that there
are three main manufacturer's of tea bags.

However, I contacted Tetley Tea (800-728-0084) and they said they make
their own tea bags and there is no gluten in their products. They will be
sending me a written statement confirming this and I will post if anything
changes.
