Thanks listmates! I have received 21 replies thus far to my query about good tasting and gf rice cakes. Here's the run down:

7 people like Lundberg Farm rice crackers. They have a listing of their gf foods at http://www.lundberg.com/indexhtml

5 people like Quaker varieties - including the popcorn cakes. Not all Quaker rice cakes are gf so read the label and check with the company first.

other recommendations included: Pathmark's sesame seed rice crackers, Lundgren's, Hain White Cheddat Cheese, Kroger brand (some contain gluten - call Kroger to inquire), Jewel store brand cakes (call company for gf list - this person listed buttered popcorn, carmel popcorn, and plain unsalted Jewel brand as gf), Mother's Brand, and one person uses Corn Thins instead (check out www.realfoods.com).

Some offered topping suggestions. Top with yogurt, peanut butter or other nut butter spreads, or top with tuna, chicken, etc.

Thanks very much for your suggestions. My daughter and I just finished off two Lundberg Brown Rice cakes with strawberry yogurt on top. Yummy! I plan on putting peanut butter on one today for my son's lunch. Cheers,
Lori
