Hello List:
I just wanted to share my experience with everyone. I have been very ill for
the past six plus years and I have seen numerous doctors. I always feel sick
after I eat and my stomach is almost always painfully swollen. Originally, I
was told I had celiac disease (according to blood test results) - but after
being GF for 9 months and not getting any relief of symptoms, I saw another
gastro doc that told me I do not have celiac disease. He said he agreed
something was going on, but said he was unsure of what it was. I finally
found a doctor that was willing to do a complete allergy panel blood test. I
just got my results back and now all my questions have been answered! It
showed that I am sensitive to: goats milk, cows milk, casein, cheddar cheese,
yogurt, apricots, raspberries, egg whites, egg yolks, lamb, turkey, crab,
trout, yeast, cane sugar, chocolate, almonds, corn, gluten, corn gluten, oats,
peanuts, rice, rye, sesame, soy, walnuts, wheat, buckwheat, peas, string beans,
mushrooms, spinach, garlic, alfalfa, bean sprouts, cashews, millet, pistachios,
wheat bran, basil, cinnamon, curry, ginger, nutmeg, oregano, cayenne pepper,
peppermint, thyme, vanilla, and allspice. Needless to say, I'm really having
trouble trying to figure out what to eat, but atleast I now know what the
problem is: Severe Food Allergies!!! I have seen a few different allergists
over the years, and was told that I should just eliminate anything that bothers
me. The problem is I ran out of things to eliminate and still didn't feel
better - I thought I was going crazy. I had no idea someone could be sensitive
to soo many things. I just wanted to share my story with everyone in hopes that
it may help someone else. Best of luck to all.
