Michelle Melin-Rogovin  will be speaking to the Heartland CD/DH Support group (a partner with GIG) on Super Bowl Sunday. 1/16, at Western Baptist Hospital, from 2-4 p.m.

Michelle is the Director of the University of Chicago Celiac Program.  She has the expertise and enthusiasm born of experience with chronically and acutely ill patients and their families.  The UCDDP is reaching out to celiacs in the mid-western states by researching the disease and raising the diagnosis rates by awareness,  An integral ingredient is opening up the lines of communication between celiacs and their  doctors.  Michelle will travel over 6000 miles this year spreading the word about our disease, the diet and other aspects.  She is a true advocate for celiacs.  Michelle also writes for Living Without ( a marvelous magazine) and Scott-Free Live (www.celiac.com).  The UCCDP stays in touch with groups and members to address concerns and provide information.
