Hi, I would love some help understanding recent test results. I was
diagnosed with celiac 11 years ago, but just had an IgG blood test for
casein, which came back high. Medical providers seems split about the
necessity of following a strict casein diet, due to the unclear nature of
this test. Have others had success on a casein free diet, due to this
blood test? Is it similar to gluten in terms of cross contamination or
should I just read labels and avoid dairy/casein? Do small amounts (e.g.
labels that say "may contain") matter? Any advice about a casein free
cheese substitute?
Thank you, I really appreciate the help!
