Another attendee at the conference I attended thought I needed to clarify
what was said there about Dr. Shaw's leaving Children's Mercy Hospital.
Apparently there was a disagreement about policy regarding his freedom to
speak of his research in public, and I did not state the situation in those
terms in my post.  I certainly don't want to muddy the waters or be part of
a rumor mill!  Please forgive me for my lack of clarity. I'll try to be more
careful next time.
