Thanks All..... this was easy.....  Don't wash the sifter....bag it up and put it away.   Now I knew this....somewhere back in my mind I remember my mom never washing a sifter.   Beats me why I do....as I have a separate one for regular flour.   

Some used strainers and some found sifters made from plastic (tupperware) etc.    And some said to not even bother sifting.    So there ya go!!
