Hi everyone,

I have A LOT to share with you this month, so I'll try to be succinct and post in bullet-point form for easy scanning:

1.) If you're a skier and live on the East Coast, check out our FEATURED REVIEW this month...it showcases the very GF-friendly "Slopeside" restaurant at Seven Springs Mountain Resort in Pennsylvania ( https://glutenfreetravelsite.com/featured.php ).

2.) Heading to KAUAI anytime soon? Find my reviews -- along with those of many others -- by entering Kauai into the Search box on this page of our site ( https://glutenfreetravelsite.com/maps/map-locator.php ). In fact, you can enter ANY town/city, either in the U.S. or around the world, on this page to find and read reviews of GF-friendly dining spots.

3.) I just updated my Gluten-Free in LONDON e-book. Find it on Amazon ( http://amzn.to/1xv65qh ).

4.) My Gluten-Free in ITALY e-book was just updated as well...and I added a chapter on Umbria to all the info on Rome, Florence, and Venice. Available on Amazon ( http://amzn.to/2aamE5t ).

Both books are available for a nominal price and save you tons of time in your own travel planning. They are chock-full of recommendations on dining, accommodations, transportation, sightseeing, saving money, packing, and more!

5.) For fans of CALIFORNIA PIZZA KITCHEN -- or good gluten free pizza in general -- you'll be excited to hear that CPK just announced a brand new line of cauliflower crust pizzas that have been very well-received in their three-month test period. Now they are available at ALL CPK restaurants nationwide. Now GF diners have a choice of these pizza crusts OR their traditional GF pizza crusts when ordering. Keep in mind, however, that only four of their pizza varieties are certified GF, using GIG's protocol for safe preparation and avoiding cross contamination. Read more in my latest Blog post ( http://bit.ly/2FzQ0GM ).

6.) We have updated our listing of SUMMER CAMPS that welcome GF kids ( https://glutenfreetravelsite.com/glutenfreecamps.php ). Find 2018 info for almost 20 different camps all over the U.S. Please pass this info along to anyone else you know who has a GF child or grandchild. Speaking from experience sending our own son to one of these camps for the past 7 years (and volunteering there myself), it's a great opportunity!

7.) Have you picked up a copy of the January/February issue of SIMPLY GLUTEN FREE magazine yet? As always, it's full of wonderfully simple and delicious GF recipes. Plus, you can read my article about traveling and dining GF in charming CHARLESTON, SC, one of the top tourist destinations for several years now.

8.) If you've already visited Rome, Florence, and Venice and are looking for a "less traveled" area of ITALY to explore, consider a culinary tour of one of many regions of Italy, guided by small-tour operator Bluone Tours. I had the opportunity to travel with them on a week-long small-group tour of Umbria back in the Fall, and it left me longing to sign up for another one of their tours (they offer them virtually all over Italy, so you're sure to find an itinerary that interests you). Although they are positioned as food and wine tours, you'll visit many of the interesting historical and cultural spots of each region, all while being led by the lovely owners of Bluone Tours, Marcello and Raffaella Tori. They will work with restauranteurs in advance to take care of your gluten free dietary requirements. PLUS, friends of GlutenFreeTravelSite get a special Welcome Gift upon arrival. Just mention code GFTS-GF at the time of booking. Check out their website ( http://www.bluone.com ) and feel free to email them at [log in to unmask] with questions.

9.) We have LOTS of exciting NEW GF GETAWAYS that we'll be announcing soon, from various GF travel specialists, so be sure to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, or Instragram (all the LINKS are below under my signature) to hear when we announce them.

Until next month...

Warm regards,
