I was just wondering if anyone knows if it is not unheard of to get
setbacks for no apparent reason while on the GF diet. I began an
extremely strict GF diet about 2 1/2 weeks ago and starting feeling
better almost immediately. Then out of the blue the symptoms started
getting worse again and I haven't changed anything in the diet. A friend
of my husband's who is Celiac asked me if I was still on dairy products
and he apparently was told to stay off dairy products for a while when he
was first diagnosed and then gradually re-introduced them into his diet.
I am getting the same symptoms as I did when eating gluten. Why is this?
I am not even sure that this is the problem. I am concerned that there is
something more seriously wrong with me that the doctor missed. I feel
like I am backsliding just when I seemed to be making some headway.
Anyone have any ideas on this? I haven't been eating large amounts of
dairy but I do put milk in tea and coffee and butter on bread etc.
