thanks to all who replied about the chocolate.  here is the info for those of
you who want this chocolate you can get it in gormet food stores in America.

acording to the GF List issued by the german-celiac-ass., the
following Ritter Sports are Gluten Free:
100 grams- Alpenmilch (milk), Ganze Mandel (almond), Hlabbitter
(halfbitter), Haselnuss (haselnut), Joghurt, Marzipan, Mocca+Sahne,
Nugat, Olympia, Pfefferminz (peppermint), Rum-Trauben-Nuss
(rum-raisin-nut), Trauben-Nuss, Vollmilch (milk), Voll-Nuss (nuts)
Ritter minis acordingly,
XXL Fruit and nuts, XXL Golden Peanuts.

NOT GLUTEN FREE are:
Crocant-crisp,joghurt-Pfirsich-Maracuja, Joghurt-Orange,
Knusper-Flakes, Weisse Vollnuss (white whole nut), all Cniss Bits, Rum
Knusper St=FCck, XXL Crunchy Pops, XXL Sunny Crisp, Ritter minis
acordingly.

Now, this info is only certified for the Ritter Stuff that is
manufactured in Germany. I do not know if the production lines in
other places are keep seperate. (Cross contermination). I dont know
where the ritters that you get in your store are produced. Maybe check
with the local manuf.


I know some are, here in the UK.  You really need to find
the importer and ring him, as it is normal for
confectionary to be made to different standards for
different markets in the same factory (!).  We have found
sweets for the Danish market even *MARKED* GF while the
"same" sweets for the German market (on the same part of
the same shelf in a border supermarket) are not GF at all!
