I'm a newbie. My name is Michelle, and I don't know if
I have Celiac Disease or not. I suspect that I do,
obviously, or I wouldn't be here. I have an
appointment with my doctor at the end of January.

I've had problems with my digestion as long as I can
remember. I started the South Beach diet, and for the
first time, I felt great. When I went off the diet,
I'm right back to the usual problems. I jsut happened
to read of Celiac surfing around on my computer.

I've been enjoying reading everyone's posts.

I do have a question...I don't have diarreah every
day, or even consider it one of my worse symptoms.
Mostly I have gas, bloating and stomach pain. I do
have diarreah on occasion, and in the past it was a
big concern. Is that considered common for Celiac
disease? It seems to me that the most common symptom
is diarreah.

Any way- sorry for the long first post.

Michelle
