I just have to second the letter written by Marlene. Gus' Place is
simply a magnificent restaurant. I took my whole family there on
Christmas Eve. The food was the best I have had in 6 months. The
chocolate hazelnut cake was out of this world ! To top it off, every
plate of food looked like an artistic masterpiece!

Let me also mention that I frequently eat at Bloom's Deli Cafe near
Grand Central Station (40th and Lex). They also have a delicious GF
menu, though much more in the style of deli food (burgers, etc). They
have the best french fries in NY City.

I also want to mention that I ate at Josephine's - across from Lincoln
Center - last night and the waiter and chef went out of the way to
prepare a GF meal for me. They don't have a GF menu, but knew all
about the restrictions involved. It, too, was absolutely delicious.
(The food he prepared wasn't even on the menu...)

Best wishes for happy holiday to all -

kathleen
