Hi Listmates,

In response to my question a few weeks ago, as follows,

" I have been exclusively drinking one brand of soymilk, Soy Dream,
because its package had stated it was Gluten-Free.

There's recently been a re-formulation, and Gluten-Free does not
appear on the new Soy Dream package. By calling their 800 number, I
learned that they haven't tested the new product for gluten, and
therefore cannot list it as being gf.

I would feel safer consuming a gluten-free product.

Can anyone tell me which brands, particularly those found in the north
east, specifically in the Northern NJ area, are Gluten -Free and are so
listed on the package? I would appreciate that kind of information very
much, and will summarize.

PS -- (Trader Joe's soy milk does fit the bill, but the only type I
found is unsweetened, and I find it pretty unpalatable.)"

I received the following responses:

Silk Soy Milk (by White Wave?) -- 7
Eighth Continent from General Mills -- 2
Trader Joe's Organic -- 1
Pacific Select -- 1
Blue Diamond Almond Milk (available at Trader Joe's) -- 1

I haven't been been able to get to the closest Trader Joe's in the meantime, and haven't found Silk in my local Stop and Shop, or King's Supermarket. However, I did locate another brand at the Stop and Shop, called Nature's Promise, which has the words Gluten-Free on the package, and which I believe may be a Stop and Shop brand.

Thanks for all your helpful responses.

Beatrice, from Northern NJ
