Earl Ley, a 62-year old celiac is going for a lifetime dream. He needs
gluten free food for a bicycle ride from San Diego, California, to Saint
Augustine, Florida. He is expected to provide all of his own food and,
he will need 4,000 calories per day for 60 days.

Earl has several goals he is trying to accomplish with this journey. The
biggest goal is AWARENESS for Celiac Disease.

He would like companies to be sponsors and possibly contribute to his
food needs. Is your company willing to be a sponsor for Earl and help
raise awareness for this project? Do you have food items that would work
for this journey? Does your company have energy bars, meal packs, or
other pre-made food items that would support his journey?

Earl currently has two sponsors, Ener-G Foods and BikeButter, and is
actively looking for more. Sponsors are posted on the website
http://www.gluten.net/followtheride.html. When new sponsors are
confirmed, they will be added to this portion of the website.

Another group of people Earl wants to meet along his route are
individuals that have an interest in Celiac Disease. Would you be
willing to meet Earl and help promote awareness in your area? Possibly
share a meal, help him meet with local media and medical staff, etc. as
time allows?

To learn more about Earl and his goals for this journey, go to
www.gluten.net, scroll down on the page to Follow the Ride, click on
read more..., then to get additional details, on the second page, scroll
to Read Earl's Story...

I find Earl's story quite fascinating!! Those of us that know Earl wish
him well and much success on this, his dream of a lifetime!! We
encourage you to help him be successful in reaching his goals.

Nancy WA
