Several days ago, Debra Resch posted about her idea for an online GF
database.  There is already a GF online database available.  It's web
address is:  http://www.celiacdatabase.org/  I'd think it would be a
better use of resources to keep things consolidated and support the
existing database.  I have found it user-friendly, allowing searches by
manufacturer, UPC number, product name and categories, and stores and
restaurants by location.  It also has potential for cell phone and PDA
wireless access.  The more people who use it and contribute their
manufacturer information on GF status of products, the better it will be
for all of us.
