Welcome Suzanna: As you may know this is a new list, just getting
started. I understand there are now 102 people subscribed.
A * support group list is what you make it * . There are people of all
ages, and both type 1 & Type 2 diabetics who also have Sprue. A few
parents of cel-diab children have sent introductory posts, so there are
some folks who have similar circumstances.

Although there may well be unique circumstances in helping a child
manage these diseases, the knowledge, support, and understanding the
difficulties are universal- and often, the folks with years of
experience managing both diseases can come up with some of the best
ideas.

I was asked to make posts to help to get the list going. This has been
the quietist 102 people with celiac & diabetes I have ever met. My posts
were made with the intention of starting some conversation.

I certainly don't know it all, but sure wish those other 100 people
would started posting!
