A few listmates asked about insulin pump listserv subscribing
information......
so here it is;


Pumping 101 is an e-mail discussion list for insulin pump users, educators,
and suppliers.To subscribe to the list send e-mail to

Insulin Pumpers is a closed list to reduce spam and protect the privacy of
the list members.  Only those who are insulin pumpers, those considering
using a pump, health care professionals, or other persons having a
demonstratable interest in diabetes and insulin pumping are welcome to join
the list.

 You can subscribe in regular or digest form.  Other options include
receiving no messages but having access to the Members Only portion of the
web-site, which has a browseable 'news-like' access to the Insulin-Pumpers
mail list.  With that option you may send mail directly from the browser
interface.

 Another list is called Young-IPrs, maintained for young people who are
pumpers or interested in pumping.  It is intended for teen-agers and younger.

 Still another list is called the "Scandinavian Language Insulin-Pumpers"
mail list.

There is also a "Doctors and Medical Professionals" mail list for medical
professionals seeking or willing to provide information and guidance on the
treatment of type 1 diabetics utilizing the insulin infusion pump.  This list
is for doctors, CDEs, pump trainers, RNs, and others professionally involved
in the treatment, care, and training of patients with diabetes as well as
those familiar with installation and maintenance of insulin pumps.

 To subscribe to any of these Insulin Pumper's mailing lists go to
http://www.bizsystems.com/Diabetes/ and click on "Join Insulin-Pumper's
and other mail lists" and then click on "Join."

 For your subscription to be accepted you must also write
[log in to unmask] (a different address from the one
given above to subscribe) with a member profile, including your name, city or
region, the number of years you have had IDDM and any serious complications
with which you have some experience that may be useful to others.
