This is for Lydia Mann. Lydia, I can almost feel the discouragement
emanating off the screen when I read your posting. I feel for you. It's
certainly difficult to manage any chronic illness, but trying to balance
two of them can be overwhelming at times. Then add in our culture's
obsession with slimness. Gets frustrating at times. Sounds like you have
done a wonderful job of finding the right kinds of help for yourself,
and you're taking good care of your needs. I'm wondering if it might
also be possible to find an understanding nutritionist and perhaps an
exercise physiologist or fitness trainer who could help you achieve your
own fitness goals while still addressing the needs of your illnesses. It
would take some educating of both of them, but it sounds like you have
some experience doing that! Try and hang in there. Sometimes we have to
go through these really down times before we can see a good way to go
up!! Good luck. -- Kathy Scortino
