According to the Diabetes Wellness Letter, March 1999, Volume 5, Number 3:
"The American Diabetes Association has just added a new and long overdue
position statement to its existing set.  (It)....is titled : Care of
Children with Diabetes in the school and Day Care Setting."

It is a position statement ...."that will allow children with diabetes to
participate fully and without discrimination in school activities...."  It
offers a "care plan format" and outlines "specific responsiblities".
