Hi there,

I was diagnosed with celiac disease about a month ago and have had type I
diabetes for 13 years. Since starting the gluten free diet last month not
only am I feeling significantly better, but my insulin needs have been
plummeting. I am on an insulin pump and was taking 35-40 units of novolog
per day. I am now taking 19 units a day. I'm not complaining but I am
wondering if anyone else experienced this change when they went gluten free.
If so how long does it generally take for things to even out?

Thanks in advance and I'll summarize the responses.

Samantha in Boston
