This is not exactly true. Rice Krispies cereal (in the US) is made with
malt flavoring. Rice Krispies Treats Snack Umms are NOT. My
understanding of this item is that the main concern is the chance of
cross-contamination. That's something each individual has to make a
judgment call on for themselves.
