Here is my take on the issue of whether the entire household should go GF
for the benefit of celiac members. It seems to me that if you do so, you
risk casting the celiacs in the role of victims or of being the "selfish"
ones. I would think this could be a particular problem when there are
both celiac and non-celiac children. Isn't it possible that the non-
celiacs could start to resent being forced to give up their own favorite
foods?

Except in those instances of extreme sensitivity when the mere presence of
gluten can cause problems, it would seem to me that best approach would be
a balance of accommodation among all family members.
