My 6 year old son is celiac. He has been completely GF for 2 1/2 weeks
since we were told to put him on it. We have had only one boo boo. lol a
wendys frosty. I thought it would be ok. Well its not. My question is, my
son was tested and is allergic to wheat as well as celiac. Do you all think
i should have him tested for the others. (corn, potato, rice) Lately he has
been throwing up and getting sick from something. Last night about an hour
after dinner he came in crying asking me if i gave him gluten. I explained
that i didnt and I was 100% positive that everything he ate was gf. But
anyways, he got violently sick. Throwing up, diareah, ect. After he was
done he was fine. He said that he felt a lot better. I dont know what it
was, but it made him so sick. He at a meal called Spanish Stew. For those
who are not familiar with it it is peas and carrots with ground meat in a
tomato sauce on top of mashed potatoes. I rechecked all ingredients and
there was no gluten. Can anyone help. Maybe i am missing something or maybe
it is an allergy. P.S. After dinner he had an ice cream. It was a Sunken
Treasure Ice Cream. I dont remember who makes it as I threw away the box
when i bought them and i thought they were gf.
