Hi this is for all Parents in Alberta Canada who find the cost of gluten
free food expensive and want some help. There is a program called
"Handicapped Childrens Services" through your local Child and Family
Services Authority.

To qualify you need a letter/note from your doctor stating that the child
has celiacs disease and it is a chronic and organic condition. Then you
need an amount from a dietician stating how much it costs you to feed your
celiac child. They have some magic number they subtract and then give you
the difference each month. The only real catch is you must submit grocery
reciepts proving that you bought at least that much grocery with a claim
form each month. The good part is it not just reciepts for gf foods but
any "regular" food item, ie fruits, meat etc.

Any questions please contact me.

Martin father of 3 celiac teenagers and husband of 1 celiac
Thanks
Martin
