HI all-

I have to admit that like Amber I get very annoyed when for instance my hand
jerks and I spill water all over my self, or the fact that I can't drive so I
can;t get out as much as other people, or I am trying to type and I start
hitting all the wrong keys, or there are 100s of other instances were I
become more annoyed with CP. But like Amber says, it's all I've ever known,
and and as I have said before the way in which it has oppened my eyes to so
many things that I don;t think that I would be awear of if I did not have CP,
so I do think it is great in someways---and of course some days it is
horrible. The days when my joints ache or I can't stand to read very long
becasue my back hurts...this I find most annoyig....and of course I am very
frustrated when I go to a doctor as an adult with CP and they stair back at
me and say "I don't know".

I have been able to help so many peopel with my website, and I get such a
since of satisfaction with that. And I am involved with other causes too
such as greyhound rescue, and I keep my eye on politics. So disability is
not the be all and end all of who I am as the nuro-pysychologist thought, but
it is a big part of me, it dose tend to issolate me.

I do get very frustrated by what I feel I could be doing to help children
with CP in the long run becasue I really feel that some of our medical
pracrtices on children with CP contribute detrimentally to the "post-cp
syndorme" or aging process when they are over used. But of couse medical
practices are only one of the factors of the aging process. And so I try and
educate people about this and it is a long....slow....process, and is very
frustrating some days.

Ok now I have compleetly lost my train of thought and don;t know were I am
going with this messege so I guess I will go ahead and send it out to all of
you.

and she said it was annoying. I ask how was it annoying - well she trips
when she walks and her foot drags, or her fingers and toes twitch at just
the wrong moment, or she drops everything she is holding, etc. She also
pointed out she has always been this way and doesn't know differently so its
 not so bad. >>
