Ken,

If it is "life or death,"  there are a number of on-line search sources that
you can find by doing a search through classmates.com, reunion.com, etc.
(they show up as ads).  If it's not possible to track them down that way,
there are always private investigators.  My folks did that once with a guy
that skipped ut owing them a couple thousand dollars.  The guy was found,
but had filed bankruptcy, so they got the satisfaction of tracking him down,
and about 15 percent of their money back.  With the PI fees, though, it was
almost like they hadn't gotten any money back.
