Hi, Evryone-

I'm new on this list & was just lurking for a while,
but I was reading this thread & almost fell out of my
chair laughing, thinking about my brushes with "The
Saved". I have developed some coping strategies for
these encounters that seem to have worked for me,
although I have had to make a few changes to
accommodate my changing physical situation (as is
frequently necessary with us old CP's). For instance,
after my disk surgery, I could no longer make my head
spin the required number of 360's before the projectile
pea-soup baptism, so I just have to fend them off by
saying "No,thanks,I'm a godless communist... if you
could excuse me, I need to finish race-mixing and
fluoridating your water."

Brian
