Social workers on opiates is a scary thought, Bobby. ;>)

Yes, I've already developed tolerance to a degree. I tried fentanyl once in
the form of a Duragesis patch, but had problems with the adhesive. I'm
meeting with the anesthesiologist on Saturday. I'm thinking he may
recommend methadone as an alternative to Oxycontin--at least for a couple
months. He was pretty cock-sure of himself that the epidural
corticosteroids would be the fix. I think he's pissed it didn't work as
well as he thought.

It's funny, I have been writing a continuing ed. course for social workers
on
opiates. It's very difficult to find one that does the job, but also one
where one does not develope a tolerance. What about fentanyl(80 X the
potency
of morphine).
