I'm not sure about Islam, but the Jewish Sabbath is on Saturday because Jews
believe God rested and blessed the seventh day.  Christians believe Jesus
rose on the first day of the week, that's why our day of worship is Sunday.

I agree with Kat... Even if we think girls shouldn't have to be stoned to
death for being raped, let them decide that.

speaking of religion, can anybody tell me why the Sabbath for Jews is
Saturday, and it is Sunday for Christians, and I think it's Thursday for
Muslims?
