Well, of course murder is murder, whether the victim is disabled or not. I
think it's reprehensible in any case. I'm wondering if Latimer will use the
plea of the stress of dealing w/ a disabled child as his defense. I say,
"bull," there's no defense possible in the murder of a child.

I am reminded of cases I've heard in which disabled children are shut up and
away from the world which is one of the worse forms of child abuse to me, to
deprive a child of any social interaction with the world and other human
beings.

I am also thinking of the case in Texas where that mother killed all of her
children and her defense is insanity due to postpartum depression. Again no
excuse in my book.

Kat
