Dear Bob,

I recently reminded everyone to ensure that their subject lines matched their
subjects.  As I recall, that was for your benefit.  That way, you (and others
too) would be able to delete posts that seemed unappealing.

People have posted deeply personal, and perhaps painful accounts in this
thread.  Your comments about them were out of line.
