Yeah, I can't really see it being deemed "medically necessary"
though, unless I could convince them it was a "mental health" issue to
safely visit my family. I've used a chair for over 30 years, and in the
last 10 years, every one in my family has moved into a "gimp proof" house.
With an IBOT, I could safely and comfortably visit them all. It's
interesting; my in-laws added a ramp to their house a couple of years ago,
which makes it so I can get in the door and into the living room, and family
room area. 10 years (and 25 pounds) ago, it was a lot easier to do
stairs.... It was easyto do Wade and Ione's place, though; they were gone
to Arizona (they're "snowbirds), and Janet's brothers said "Let's rebuild
their deck while they're gone." They supplied the labor, we supplied the
design, and we split the materials. Thank you for helping me "think out
loud!" My brother, sister, and sister-in-law (all at least 40!) finish
grad school in May, so we could converge on Mom and Dad's house, design a
ramp and build it this summer!

Kendall

An unreasonable man (but my wife says that's redundant!)

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one
persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress
depends on the unreasonable man.

-George Bernard Shaw 1856-1950
