I took it all in good humour, Ken!  Just hope Mag does.

But I admit I find the oil theory a bit farfetched myself.  Sure we need
oil, but it's really against our intrinsic principles to be an empire just
for the sake of oil.  It's not what our country was founded on, and it's not
what we're comfortable with.  I do not think we will interfere with the
Iraqi economy to the point of forcing the Arab states to sell oil (much less
give it to us)  cheaply.  It would be a contemptible abuse of powers that
would not sit well with the World Court.  Remember that we are in the
world's eye and everything we do is thoroughly scrutinised.

No, I think Bush's mission is more personal than that.  He wants to finish
the job his father started, and to do away with al Queda for attacking the
US.
