I have a large box that has a basic first aid kit, flashlight with new
batteries (not in the flashlight yet), some food supplies... I do need to
replenish the water because after 6 months they began leaking. I have an
agency that has several workers who live in my neighborhood, so I am sure
they would send somebody to assist me in case of an earthquake. If I knew
ahead of time it was going to be a big storm, you bet I'd get my ass up
Oakland ave (a big street, which goes up a huge hill) as far as I could
drive my chair, or I'd take BART to antioch! (inland, very dry, hot area)
If I have enough time, and a car available, I'd pack up my cats too and
just go inland.
