Yeah, Bobby, everyone's being "skunked" by this hot weather. I've only been
out a few times this summer myself. Too doggone hot! When the water gets
too warm, the O2 levels go down and the fish get very lethargic. Like
people, they lose their appetite when it's hot.

I've never been on Kentucky Lake, though I've spent some time between the
dams on the Tennessee down in Alabama. I usually go to Dale Hollow, Center
Hill, Percy Priest and Old Hickory (in that order) when I'm "lake" fishing
in TN. When I go fly-fishing for trout, I drive down to east TN, near
Lookout Mountain or Soddy Daisy.

First of all, welcome back Kyle and Ken!

Actually we went to what they call Kentucky Lake, which is the Tennessee
River just north of I-40 in Tennessee. Put in at Cuba Landing where Grant
started his march onto Shiloh. Did not catch much due to the hot weather>
This last Sunday we went to Glen Springs about 40 minutes north of Memphis.
I
caught a 3/4 lb large mouth and Charlie caught one 5 lb large mouth. It was
pretty hot up there.
