Yes, definitely request a few PT/OT sessions while in the hospital  
and even when you get home.  I did that with every surgery I have  
ever had and found it particularly helpful after the c-section since  
my abs were pretty much out of commission post-surgery.  I always  
thought I had "no abs" but when I REALLY had no abs I realized just  
how much I did use them!
